In 2006, Co-president Barbara Abbate started the monthly newsletter "The Log". From its beginning each president has added their unique style to the President's Message and the content of the "The Log". The summer of 2014 was the start of the summer log. The summer log focused on pictures and stories submitted by members. We saw and read about gardens in North Carolina, New York, Wisconsin, Italy, Iceland, Saint Simons Island, and elsewhere.
The Log continues to inform members of programs and events while offering garden tips and suggestions from Live Oaks Garden Club members.
